  • Experience should include professional custodian/janitorial work.

Director of Transit Planning & Special Projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead continued development, coordination, and execution of Transit Vision and Development plans
  • Analyze data, identify problems, and evaluate potential alternatives using statistical data, reports, and research gathered
  • Identify transportation grant opportunities and potential funding sources for projects/improvements
  • Work closely with consultants, stakeholders, transit providers, Valley Metro senior management and staff
  • Perform other related duties incidental to position

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning or related field
  • Master’s degree in Urban, Regional, or Transportation planning
  • 3 years experience in transportation or related field
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
