Saturday Service Adjustments

Due to a shortage of operators, Valley Metro will make the following changes to its Saturday service effective June 4, 2022.

  • Routes 12/15:
    • Will not run on Saturdays
      Valley View Mall will continue to be served by Routes 11/16. If you normally ride Routes 12/15 on Saturday, please allow more time to reach your destination. See the Map/Schedule for Routes 11/16 to plan your trip.
  • Routes 51/56:
    • Will not run on Saturdays
      Tanglewood Mall will continue to be served by Routes 52/55. If you normally ride Routes 51/56 on Saturday, please allow more time to reach your destination. See the Map/Schedule for Routes 52/55 to plan your trip.
  • Routes 25/26:
    • Saturday service provided on even hours only
      Departs Third Street Station: 6:15AM, 8:15AM, 10:15AM, 12:15PM, 2:15PM, 4:15PM, 6:15PM, & 8:15PM
  • Routes 65/66:
    • Saturday service provided on odd hours only
      Departs Third Street Station: 7:15AM, 9:15AM, 11:15AM, 1:15PM, 3:15PM, 5:15PM, & 7:15PM
  • Smart Way:
    • Connection between Roanoke and the New River Valley
      Departs Third Street Station - 7:50AM, 11:20AM, 3:50P, 6:50PM, & 10PM
      Departs Squires Student Center – 6:40AM, 9:20AM, 12:50PM, 5:20PM, 8:20PM
  • All other routes, including STAR service, will remain unchanged.
